User Administration
From TaeskWiki
This chapter is only relevant for the “Super User” Administrators.
General introduction
Naturally not everyone is allowed to change the content within TaeskCMS. Only the persons who have a valid login and password are allowed to log into the system and change the content.
Handling “Administrators” is the process of administrating these logins and passwords.
There are two types of Administrators; the “normal” administrator and the “super user”. The “normal” administrator is allowed to change the content of the website within those sections that they have been given access to. The “Super user” Administrators also have access to changing the contents, and furthermore, are allowed to administer the list of Administrators as well as their access ‘rights’.
- If you’re logged in as a “super user” Administrator, a second menu will appear next to “Website structure” called “Administrators”. When you click this menu, you get the “Administrators” screen. From this area you can add and delete administrators, as well as modify the various settings of the individual Administrators, including what areas of the website they can administer
- If the box is checked, the Administrator is active.
- If the Administrator is a “super user”, a crown icon will appear before the “active” icon. Each Administrator is listed alphabetically by name, and in parenthesis their login is listed.
